Fiction: My heat beats for Jan. Part 1.

The alluring voice raps
through my tiny hole running down to my marrow as I began to quake in my boot.

Gazing and stealing a glance made her cast off the novel abstractedly as she looks into my eyes and said: "J C I don't love you, stop disturbing me".
Shit! After all my efforts!  Staring at her undulating backside as she walks away made me raise my voice  to call on her,  unfortunately, the cacophony of voices from the busy Lagos road couldn't let her hear.... I was so flabbergasted and astounded.

The next day, I mounted at my usual shawarma spot to try my luck once more,  luckily,  she came to buy pizza with her brother Oluwaseun.
Ahh... Seun!  Ba wo ni?  I greeted grasping the straw.  "Owa dada ni ooo"..  He responded enthusiastically.  "Hi..  Jan" I waved pretended I was no longer interested.  "Hi... J C" she waves with cute smile which produces charming dimples on her cheeks.  At that moment,  the Giant in me arose again.

I started thinking of how to engage into discussion with her through her brother.    "this ur sister ehhh.. " I said as I laughed awkwardly in a way that showed only my four center upper teeth.

"Wetin she do"?  Seun responded...  "She too fine biko" I said clinging my palm on his elbow.  "I no understand " he said looking at me surprisingly.  At that moment I was disconcerted and discovered the method no go work.

The next day,  I decided to dress fine with good perfume and I droved down to the spot with my Dad's newest jeep: Lexus 400. Luckily, I saw her coming back from Jamb lesson with her friends..  "Hy...  Jan! " she stopped, looked at me,  looked at the white Lexus; she was apparently awed.  I went closer to her;  "can I take u and ur friends to shawarma spot so I can buy for u guys?  She accepted..  "u don Jam"  I muttered".

She entered with her friends,  I increased the car A. C to 60 PSI and connected my music Bluetooth as Shania Twain song "You're still the one I want" burst into their ears. I was looking at them at the back through the inner center mirror.  The song threw her off balance..  I then increased the volume.

We finally arrived at the shawarma spot,  I ordered for them,  after that, I took them to the nearby "Kingstin Joe" (KC) restaurant for a dinner.  We ate and drank wine.  I took my favourite "Andrel Champagne rose" . "Yep!  It is time to go home" I said looking at her romantically.  She dims her eyes and takes away her face.  "She's shy" I muttered.

Jan...  I love you 🌷.
She looked at me : her red lips began to move in shape of words,  but she wasn't saying anything.  "do you"?

Yes, I do,  you're a darling.  I hurried to her to hug her as she disappeared...
To be continued...
